涉外交流｜我所罗梦妮律师受邀赴斯里兰卡出席国际研讨会 获当地主流媒体关注报道

近日，由斯里兰卡头部律师事务所 Sudath Perera Associates 主办的国际研讨会“Trade in Turbulent Times: Geopolitical Challenges and Opportunities from Sri Lanka’s Perspective”（“贸易动荡时代：斯里兰卡视角下的地缘挑战与机遇”）在斯里兰卡首都科伦坡顺利举行。来自中国、美国、印度及斯里兰卡等国家的法律、经济与投资领域专家齐聚一堂，围绕全球贸易格局变化、地缘政治风险及新兴经济体发展机遇等议题展开深入交流。我所合伙人、涉外团队负责人、科威特办公室创始人罗梦妮律师作为嘉宾受邀出席研讨会进行主旨演讲，并作为嘉宾参与专家专题讨论。

Recently, an international seminar titled “Trade in Turbulent Times: Geopolitical Challenges and Opportunities from Sri Lanka’s Perspective”, hosted by a leading Sri Lankan law firm Sudath Perera Associates, was held in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Experts from the fields of law, economics, and finance from countries including China, the United States, India, and Sri Lanka gathered to engage in in-depth discussions on topics such as shifts in the global trade landscape, geopolitical risks, and development opportunities for emerging economies. Ms. Mengni (Romanee) Luo, Partner, Head of the Foreign-related Legal Services Group and Founder of Office in Kuwait of QZ & WD Law Firm, was invited to speak at the seminar and participated in the expert panel discussion.

本次研讨会聚焦当前全球经济环境的不确定性以及国际贸易体系的深刻变化，重点探讨地缘政治冲突、贸易保护主义、供应链重构以及区域合作等因素对新兴经济体带来的挑战与机遇。活动吸引了众多企业界人士、政策研究者及法律专业人士参与交流，在当地引发广泛关注。

The seminar focused on the uncertainties in the current global economic environment and the profound changes in the international trade system. Discussions centered on how factors such as geopolitical conflicts, trade protectionism, supply chain restructuring, and regional cooperation present both challenges and opportunities for emerging economies. The event attracted numerous participants from the business community, policy research institutions, and the legal profession, drawing widespread attention locally. 

在主旨演讲和专题讨论环节，罗梦妮律师结合中国企业对外投资趋势与区域产业链合作前景，分享了中国企业在全球供应链重构背景下的投资观察，并就数字经济合作、跨境贸易便利化及国际合规等议题交流了中国实践与经验。她表示，随着中国对外开放持续深化以及区域合作不断加强，中国与包括斯里兰卡在内的新兴市场国家在贸易、投资与产业合作方面仍具有广阔空间。

During the speech and panel discussion, Ms.Mengni (Romanee) Luo shared her observations on Chinese enterprises’ outbound investment in the context of global supply chain restructuring, drawing on trends in China’s outward investment and prospects for regional industrial cooperation. She also exchanged views on China’s practices and experience in areas including digital economy cooperation, cross-border trade facilitation, and international compliance. She noted that as China continues to deepen its opening-up and regional cooperation further strengthens, there remains significant potential for expanded trade, investment, and industrial collaboration between China and emerging markets, including Sri Lanka.

罗梦妮律师的相关观点受到与会嘉宾及媒体的广泛关注。斯里兰卡国家级财经日报Daily FT和当地最具影响力之一的英文报纸Daily Mirror均对本次研讨会进行了报道。其中，Daily Mirror还以 “New RMB clearing facility to slash currency risks for local firms eyeing Chinese market”为题，对罗梦妮律师的发言进行了专门报道，她介绍了中斯两国近期建立的人民币清算安排，并分析了该机制在降低跨境交易成本、促进双边贸易与投资合作方面的重要意义。

Ms.Mengni (Romanee) Luo’s remarks attracted considerable attention from both participants and the media. Daily FT, Sri Lanka’s national financial daily, and Daily Mirror, one of the country’s most influential English-language newspapers, both reported on the seminar. Notably, Daily Mirror published a feature report on Ms.Mengni (Romanee) Luo’s speech under the headline “New RMB clearing facility to slash currency risks for local firms eyeing Chinese market. “She introduced the recently established RMB clearing arrangement between China and Sri Lanka and analyzed its significance in reducing cross-border transaction costs and promoting bilateral trade and investment cooperation.
